Save Our Services - from Ashford International

Sharon Bowles MEP is leading the campaign to retain full services from Ashford International - a vital strategic resource for all East Kent. Please sign the petition at http://www.saveashfordinternational.com.
From December 2007, Eurostar intends to cuts services from Ashford to FOUR per day - three to Paris, one to Eurodisney.
There will be NO direct Brussels trains. The only train to stop at Lille allowing an onward connection to Brussels will be the Eurodisney one - which is frequently fully booked.
Travellers to Brussels will have to DRIVE to Ebbsfleet - beside Bluewater and Dartford.
There will be no trains from Ashford to Ebbsfleet until 2009.
Four trains per day will not provide a viable income for the businesses or make the current opening hours of the station sustainable.
It is believed Eurostar intends to axe ALL services from Ashford in due course.
This will impact on individuals and companies.
