Lib Dem PPC appoints popular local councillor as his election agent

Margaret Flaherty, popular Councillor for Herne Bay has been appointed to act as election agent to Mark Barnard.

Commenting Margaret said:

"I am delighted to take up this post. Mark was recently appointed as the Parliamentary Candidate for North Thanet, he stood for North Thanet in 2005 and we have worked together since.

"The General Election is going to be a time when the people of North Thanet can deliver their verdict on the lack of representation they have experienced for years. The expenses fiasco and the way in which our MP has responded to the outrage of the people is a disgrace.

"It is time for a change and I am looking forward to working with Mark to bring about that change for the residents of North Thanet."
